At what point should our Python client be calling the dxlclient.client.destroy() during teardown of our client?
We're not necessarily running a complicated workflow, but I want to make sure we're actually releasing all relevant resources.

I usually just use "with" to avoid having to manually call destroy().
clara_kt is correct. In almost all cases, it is simpler and generally safer to use the Python keyword with to avoid having to make the call directly. See the example below:
